Homeschool Learning Coach/Facilitator for Ischool Virtual Academy, Lone Star Online Academy (Grades PreK - Grade 12), etc...

Students who attend school at Kimmy D’s Christian Academy are enrolled in approved electronic courses, as defined by the Texas Virtual School Network (TxVSN). Homeschooled students will receive instruction and content delivered over the Internet where instructional activities take place. Courses are designed specifically for an online learning environment. KDCA will guide your child throughout their entire experiment (educate, monitor, guide, evaluate, etc...). Each course is approved by the TEA and aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). Successful course completion requires students to demonstrate academic proficiency in the approved electronic course assessments and activities.  Students who are homeschooled would:

  • Engage in One-on-One Teaching
  • Receive In person instruction.
  • Embrace a safe learning environment.
  • Enjoy flexibility.
  • Avoid competition among peers.
  • Take the stress load away from parents.

Christian Development

How exciting it is to teach Biblical content and Bible doctrine specifically and intentionally to our young generation.  The Word of God has been pushed aside, criticized, and ignored for decades.  Waking up to see a new day lets us know that we still have a chance.... a chance to tell someone about Christ.  We prioritize spiritual development by incorporating:

  • Biblical teachings into our daily activities
  • Fostering a Christ-centered environment.
  • Prayer, Devotion, Question/Answer Method
  • Character Development, Ethics, & Morals
